Having not seen the first installment of this series, I didn’t really know what to expect. What I got was a weird sort of fantasy film which to me was about nothing. I guess I am not into the whole Hobbit thing, however, it was fairly entertaining and had its moments, but it stretched a bit too long. I would not recommend to anyone but it does still rate three stars.
