This is a star-studded film, Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Terrence Howard, Morris Chestnut, Harrold Perrineau (from Lost fame). It also features a much younger Sanaa Lathan. I would argue she is even more beautiful present-day than she was in this film.
Everyone was getting together because one of the guys was getting married, Morris Chestnut’s character. Taye Diggs had written a book about some of their earlier exploits, only changing the names to protect the innocent. Of course, all the cast figured quickly read the book and was able to decipher who was who, creating many funny opportunities.
I really liked this move for what it was, a black comedy done right. I thought it was very funny and I enjoyed nearly every minute of it. Highly recommended.
