I picked this film up off of Netflix recently and could not figure out why. Then the reason soon became clear, Duane ‘the rock’ Johnson. Okay, I’ve established that I like the guy, but can he carry a movie by himself? In this film, he doesn’t have to because Shane from Walking Dead (Jon Bernthal) has his back. When I was watching it, it seemed like it took me forever to figure out where I knew him from, then oh, that’s Shane, back from the dead. Anyhow, this movie was about a dad, the Rock, whos son was locked up on a bogus drug violation. The Rock was determined to find a way to get him out. The plan he hatched was to give the authorities some information that his son didn’t have regarding the contacts in the drug empire. He enlisted Shane, to get his first contact. I thought the film was decent but I would not go around raving about it.
