Michael Fassbender plays a seriously troubled sex addict. He also has an equally troubling relationship with his sister. At one point he lets her move in with him and soon feels like that was a mistake. All the while he’s continuing his sex exploits. He’s trapped in his disease so much so that he finds it hard to experience pleasure in the ordinary way. The musical score was excellent adding to the lack of dialogue in many scenes. Spoiler.. His sister attempts suicide near the end of the film at which point he finally realizes she is the one person he really cares about. This film is a character study into the life of a sex addict. It was nicely acted and I would highly recommend it.
