This was a very weird film. I noticed it had a lot of following online and was streaming on Netflix, so I decided to give it a viewing. I don’t think I have the mental capacity to understand what was going on in this film. I think it was about an invention these two guys had that would allow them to clone themselves and they could have their clones do certain things. Also somehow the clones were going back in time, enabling them to predict things like the winning game scores or stock prices, etc. It kind of reminded me of the movie ‘Inception’ which had the dream within a dream within a dream thing going on, which was difficult to follow, only ‘Primer’ is even more difficult to follow. It doesn’t help that I was watching this over the period of a week pausing it each night before going to sleep. At the end of the movie, I just did not get what was going on, or what had just happened. It was a total disconnect for me, I guess perhaps I should re-watch it, but I don’t think I really care. It’s definitely a cerebral film, bring your thinking cap to enjoy.
