This film starring Charleton Heston starts out in a spaceship and then crash landing onto a faraway planet. Honestly, the beginning was fantastic, the anticipation growing for the inevitable contact with alien life.

I was thinking about how the planet they landed on was so much like earth, but this question was answered at the end of the film. The film deals with questions of faith, justice, morality, and is an instant classic.
