“You can all just go f$$$ yourselves”
How could you not like this movie? It has an interesting premise. A man who apparently has Alzheimer’s disease thinks he’s won a million dollars needs to get to Nebraska to claim it. The film was shot in black-and-white which to me adds to its character the real stars of this film are the down-to-earth old people to play the part so well. The dialogue in this film was hilarious. Correction, it really is not just the dialogue, it was the people in the film were hilarious mainly Bruce Dern And June Squibb, who played a married couple, Woody and Kate. So they go on this trek, to get the grandpa his million dollars they run into some old folks that you haven’t seen in years, and of course, once they find out they all owe them money. Even when they tell them that he didn’t really win the money they think they’re just covering up so they won’t think he has money.
This was a great film, great content, well written, and extremely funny. Highly recommended.
