I’m not sure why I have been avoiding this movie that is until I sat down and watched it. It has one of my favorite actors in it, Paul Dano. Unfortunately, his part was more of a cameo than a real role. The true stars of this film are Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis. In this movie time travel has been figured out. Levitt and Willis play the same character but just a different time period. Spoilers… The plot to me is slightly confusing probably over my head but Willis comes back in time to kill the boy that is responsible for killing his wife thirty years in the future. Levitt is trying to close his ‘loop’ by killing Willis. Weird right? Then Levitt decides he can solve both problems via suicide. Credits roll. I really don’t like time travel movies because there are so many things that if you think about it could go wrong or that don’t make sense, so just the premise for me is a negative. I have to give the filmmakers some credit for making Levitt look a little bit like a younger Willis.
