This was the very first James Bond movie starring Sean Connery. A weird storyline that leads him to an island in search of someone named dr no. Along the way, he runs into Ursula Andrews who just happened to be on the island. Obviously, since the movie is old it had cheesy 60s music and special effects. The movie heats up/ gets interesting once he finally meets up with dr no, an interesting dude himself who imprisons him. But James Bond is James Bond right? It’s interesting to see the old James Bond tech that he and the enemy use. After James Bond destroys dr nos fantasy building the movie ends with James and Ursula Andrews sailing off into the sunset.
This movie was watched on a digitally remastered blu ray as a part of the Bond 50 collection, and the quality was terrific.
This film was entertaining but not one of my favorite bond flicks.
