This is basically a coming of age film, mostly about a young girl, played by the very beautiful Shailene Woodley as Tris. It would be easy to draw the comparison between this film and “The Hunger Games“. I would almost call it a sort of spin-off. Set in the future, where when kids come of age, they must make a decision which faction to spend the rest of your life in. If you do not belong to a faction, then you were classless, or homeless. Most of the film revolved around the decision she ends up making and her trying to earn her spot in the faction.
