This film was pretty interesting backed by very good acting by Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams. It basically told the story of their troubled marriage traveling back and forth in time. In the end, Ryan’s characters drinking causes the disintegration of their marriage. I was pulling for them to repair it, but the only way they could as I saw it was for Ryan’s character to quit drinking and acting stupid. What I am not getting across is that because of the good acting you became emotionally vested and wanted to see what happens. Unfortunately, the movie finished open ended.
