After listening to one of the recent Joe Rogan podcasts I decided to check out this special on Showtime and I’m glad I did. What we have here is the beginning of a resurgence of a once-great comedian who sort of faded out over the years, I’m not really sure why. I’ve always been sort of a fan of his over the years. I’ve seen his movies and listened to some of his comedy, so this was a good fit. And with this special, he’s back, he’s raunchy as ever, reminiscent of the old Dice Clay, and it was kind of cool. He brought his family on, playing in the band. I was a little disappointed in that it was only a one-hour special, I would have liked to see more of it but overall it was enjoyable and if you’re into this type of comedy I would recommend it.
