This movie was very interesting from the beginning and you are compelled to watch. It is a tragic story about a doomed relationship between a married couple. The husband a rich eccentric and pathological, and the wife played by Kirstin Dunst was basically a battered wife. She played what I would call a stupid wife, but I guess a lot of women fall into that category too afraid to leave their spouse, after being abused. But the question was did he get away with murder and exactly what was in his head. To me, Kirstin played a real believable part of good acting. Being that this is based on a true story it is very tragic and sad.
