This was a really cool romantic sort of chick flick. What made the film was the part of Fanny played by Marion Cotillard and the romance she ended up having with Russel Crows character, Max.
The setting was mostly in a vineyard in France that Max had inherited. It was a beautiful property, in a beautiful country. How Max could even consider selling it to me is unconscionable.
He eventually meets and falls in love with Fanny, a local girl who works at a nearby restaurant.
This film exuded lots of charm, mostly thanks to Crowe and Cotillard.
