Where Eagles Dare (1968)

I picked up this film off of TCM channel and really enjoyed it. It starred Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood in a World War II setting.  Their intended purpose was to rescue an American general in a German-occupied foreign land.  The recovery team was being led by Burton, who was holding all the cards and was keeping them close to the chest.  There was a required amount of suspension of disbelief required to get through this movie.  What I mean by that is, there were several scenes where danger was involved, that they made it through, no problem.  You could argue the same for the entire plot of the film.  Having said that, the film had you rooting for the good guys making it easy to forget the problems.  Richard Burton was at his prime during this film and put on a great performance.
