I was actually really looking forward to seeing this film. It stars one of my all-time favorite actors Russell Crowe as well as the Academy award-winning Jennifer Connelly. To be honest, my expectations were not that high, and they were met. I was definitely expecting a much more biblical interpretation of this film. In my mind, it didn’t have to be exact but I was definitely expecting a closer interpretation. There were several examples of this including the transformer rocks and Noah threatening to kill his grandkids. Even with these shortcomings, the production values were great and I did find the film to be quite entertaining. For me, it really started getting good when the flood started.
