I had high hopes for this film and was looking forward to it when the DVD showed up from Netflix. It starred Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington. Going in I was pretty sure I was watching this for the comedic aspects and not so much the plot. I was spot on. Without going into great detail, the plot of this film was ridiculous, so it’s only redeeming quality could be if it worked as a comedy. I will say it did have some laughs, but not enough to recommend. Paula Patton was the love interest for Denzel and he was decent in it. I was entertained but barely, two and a half stars.
