I recently watched this HBO production on the free preview of HBO. This is a star-studded film starring, Paul Giamatti, James Woods, William Hurt, Cynthia Nixon, to name a few. It is a docu-drama about the recent housing and banking economic collapse. The film did a good job showing the inner workings of the banks and the effects they have on the stock market and world markets. It also goes into the back door dealings the big bosses have to make to keep their businesses running and to save their own asses. It was entertaining and more realistic than the only movie I know of to compare it to, “Margin Call”, however, I think “Margin Call” was a much better film. If you are interested in this period of American history, then this film is a must-see.
