Having just watched Hang me High, this film was by far better. It stared Shirley McClaine, as a nun, who was saved by Clint during a rape attempt. The two of them form a relationship tempered with him being a criminal and her being a woman of faith. The beauty of the film could be found in their friendship and dialog. It was really enjoyable and funny at times. Spoilers… It was enjoyable watching his reaction to many of the things she did, the viewers realizing she was not really a nun but him not knowing until near the end of the film. The actual plot of the movie was not that great. What was fun to watch was the interaction between the two of them.
